Thank you for checking out our podcast.  My name is Eric Banister, and I'm a 30-plus year firefighter with 23 years in the pension.  I have been on the street at all levels of my career until September 12, 2021, when I accepted the position of Public Information Officer for the Wayne Township Fire Department in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

As part of my approach to my new assignment, I started this podcast to expand our communication with the department members, reach out to the fire department community, and share what we are accomplishing and struggling with.  We hope that this podcast is enjoyed by everyone and look forward to continuing to produce exciting and relevant content.
